Sport and Compositing
Sports photography takes patience and skill and the right equipment to get the money shot. And if you are doing composites, some high end photoshop skills are needed. These first two are real pictures, nothing added or taken out. The rest are all pieces of of many different pictures. The team pictures are all individual pictures of each player and put together into another picture. It is a lot of fun and takes a lot of time and skill.
Real picture, Live Action!!
Real picture, set up with Great Lighting on the athlete and edge lighting on the athletes right side.
8 layers on top of the background layer to make the main image. There are 10 to 15 layers that make up the background image plus blending.
4 pictures of the athlete, 20 or so picture layers in the image including the haze, Logo, print, and lightning.
13 pictures of the athletes and then the room, whoops and lettering. Not to mention 3 layers of had painted shadowing .
Ten girls and all the other stuff to bring it together…. The Twins were super psyched about this!!
