Call of Duty, Senior Portrait
Some times people want a senior portrait that is more than a picture for the yearbook. It about being unique and creating something no one else has done. Well I love those kinds of challenges and have educated my self with the art of photoshop to create surreal images for some of my High School Seniors. First off lets talk about the guys. I say guys but this also includes some of the ladies as well. How many Seniors play video Games? I would venture to say "a lot". And some of the most common are military games like Call of Duty. In fact the franchise has sold over 250 million units. WHAT!!!! That's right so I recently had a senior who is looking to become a gaming programmer and is a player of Call of Duty. So I said, "Lets make a portrait of you playing Call of Duty, outdoors and a seal team is all around you at night." How long do you think he had to think about it? Basically it was, "you had me at Call of Duty" So here is the finished image and the picture we started with underneath.
Cosplay Senior Portrait
So here is one for the girls. Cosplay is fairly huge right now thanks in part to the hit series "Big Bang Theory". Where the gang loves to get dressed up for Comic Con and other big events. Below is anime character "Haruko Haruhara". She is a whacky Vespa driving and blue bass guitar wielding character with pink hair. Here we added a carton vespa and an old design of the Japanese flag to build interest and create some depth to the image. The Guitar is a handmade prop.
