Senior Pictures in Maine class of 2023

Senior Picture On the Kennebunk River

Crazy cool senior on the Kennebunk River by Robert Akers Photography

What a great year we had last year.  Such a fantastic group of young adults.  The thing that I enjoyed about this group is that so many had there own thing that made them great.  From amazing athletes to talented artists and everything in between.  The best part of photographing seniors for me is finding out a little about who they are and then creating images the show their total awesomeness.

Because of the many beautiful beaches and the coastline I end up having people wanting to have this in the background of there senior portraits.  And, I still get who have other ideas.  Which is fine with me.  The challenge for me is make concepts into reality with outfits, lighting and posing.  It is always new and exciting.

Take a look through this years gang.  What I hope you will notice is that they are all unique.  This is because I am not a cookie cutter photographer.  I strive to be creative in my posing and lighting with both classic and modern looks.  This means a variety of expressions and poses that are fun to look at.

So if you’re thinking we might be a fit for you, here are some things to think about for the class of 2023.

First, what do you want?  Take a look at other pictures of seniors and figure out what you like and what may not be for you.

Second,  where would you like to have your pictures taken?  We will travel to the place’s that works for  you.  Last year we went from Sebago Lake to Nubble Light House in York for our clients.  And have had clients come from all over New England for great Senior an Family Portraits.

Third, think about what you will be wearing.  Bring as much as you want to change into and we will choose things that will work for you and what we are using for a background.  Other thing to remember include accessories, sports uniforms (if you want this part of your session) hair styles , cuts ( a week or more in advance)  No large amounts of sun days before your session, and make up ( None, natural or Glamorous).

Finally, we have a good conversation and plan out the session.  Going over all of your concerns and planning our shoot timeline will make your session just what you want.
